THE EARLY YEARS

Before OFFSTAGE became a travelling theatre group, run by Barnaby Eaton-Jones and Kim Jones, they performed such productions as ‘Judgement Day’, ‘Much Ado About Murder’ and ‘Much Ado About Everything’.

These original productions, which were to become an OFFSTAGE trademark, all commanded a full house for every production (sometimes up to 250 people each night).

The heritage of this theatre group continues with some original members still being present in the modern-day OFFSTAGE.

Their mascot back then was an Inflatable Penguin, which appeared or was referenced in every play
